hmmm... when you say pulse weapon, does that involve electromagnetic acceleration for it's projectiles? that would explain the metal strips on the back of the bullets.

Yes, in this case pulse means electomagnetic acceleration via pulse coils.

ah, ok, so like a gauss rifle but with a somewhat more conventional design?

yes, it is a combination of a firearm weapon's mechanic, but with gauss buller acceleration.

hmm... that makes perfect sense. my only complaint is that most of your designs seem to lack a capacitor bank or battery pack of some sort, though if it was a nano carbon supercapacitor, i suppose it wouldn't have to be very big.

Actually, there are capacitors, and there are seen on renders. Pulse ammunition consists of two parts: the bullet and a shellbattery( which is actually a cheap disposable capacitor)

similar to diamondback deus ex revolver with swing out cylinder
pistol grip and trigger guard look cartoony. some better refs like a SW .500 mag would work much better

I like the Mateba influence, as well as Chiatta. The swing out looks a little impractical, but very cool.
